The Whale watching season has officially begun here on Moreton Island.
As of June 3rd until the 16th of October, come and witness the breath taking views of these humpback whale as they make their through our waters during their great migration.
This year Tangalooma is expecting over 20,000 whales to make an appearance.
Last weekend (11/06/2016), the traditional land owners theQuandamooka People said ‘Yura Yalingbilla‘ or ‘Welcome Whales‘ as they performed songs, dances and other traditional rituals.
Every day during these winter months you have the opportunity to climb on board the Tangalooma catamaran which takes you out to meet the whales as they glide through the crystal blue waters of Moreton Island – It is a remarkable experience and something you won’t forget.

We are excited about the whales this season and would love for you to experience them too. Our Winter Warmer offer allows guests the chance to enjoy a minimum of three nights stay in our beautiful beachfront villas and a family whale watching experience (2 adults and 2 children) for a total price of $1007.00*
Please call us on (07) 3408 0099 to arrange your whale watching holiday.
