If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, Villa 47 is the one for you. Villa 47 is located at the Northern end of Tangalooma Island Resort on Moreton Island. Set back slightly from the Main Resort Centre you will find the tranquility you seek.

The two story Villa has ample space for the whole family, accommodating up to 6 guests. The open plan layout downstairs has a large Kitchen with everything you need to comfortably cater during your stay including a large family friendly fridge, Gas Cook top and Microwave oven. The Kitchens up onto the dining area and then onto the living area. The Living area boasts a large flat screen TV and DVD player, making it the perfect destination for a family movie night after a long day exploring.

Your spacious deck with BBQ is the perfect evening dining experience; BBQ destinations don’t get much better than this. Villa 47 is one of a limited number of Villas that has an additional Shower and toilet downstairs, making it a fantastic Villa for family. The Villa also has a full laundry with top loader washer and Clothes dryer. We recommend bringing enough washing powder for the duration of your stay, Should you wish to use the laundry facilities during your stay.

The Villas bedding configurations are as follows:

  • Bedroom 1: Master Bedroom with balcony showcasing magnificent views of Moreton Bay and the picturesque Glass House Mountains. This bedroom contains 1x QUEEN Bed
  • Bedroom 2: Contains 2x SINGLE Beds
  • Sleep Out: Upstairs sleep out contains 1x set of single bunks (i.e. 2x Single beds)

During your stay at the Resort you will have access to all of the Resort facilities including unlimited access to 2 Resort pools, The Whalers Bar, Resort Coffee Shop, The Beach Café, Tursiop’s Restaurant and an Authentic Chinese Cuisine Restaurant “Fire and Stone” during School Holiday periods the Resort also opens a “Build your own Burger Bar” which is an exciting lunch time option. The Resort has a variety of different free activity’s you can participate in during your stay on the beautiful

Moreton Island some of these activities include:

Equipment can be hired complimentary from Tanga Waters Sports. They just ask for a small Cash deposit when hiring the items, which is refunded when the equipment is returned.
While you are enjoying your time on the Island, you might like to pop down to the Jetty of an evening and spot the special visitors that come into the shore each evening for a feed. A small group of Wild Bottlenose Dolphins come in to be hand feed. If you would like to hand feed the Dolphins you can contact the Resort directly to enquire about packages and availability.

If you’re planning on a 4WD adventure and you’re bringing the car over, The Resort has a large complimentary cark parking located at the Northern end of the Resort, along with a range of luggage trolleys to help you get your baggage to your Villa. If you are arriving by Tangalooma Launches then your Luggage will be taken to the nearest Luggage loading bay for Villa 47 this will be directly in front of Villa 32.
